The Long View Down to the Harbor
Harbor View Hills earns its name honestly — stand at the top of this street at dusk and the whole harbor lays itself out below, boats and all, with the ocean picking up the last color in the sky past the breakwater. It's the kind of Corona del Mar location locals point to first: close enough to the village's restaurants and beaches to walk down if you wanted to, quiet enough up here that you'd rather not. That view became the anchor for the whole shoot: the drone caught it first from above, then the same sightline showed up again from street level once the streetlights came on. Inside, the house is organized around a bright, vaulted-ceiling living room with a tile fireplace and a round brass mirror that catches the beam work overhead, opening straight through to a pool and patio built for evening entertaining. A separate guest suite, finished in a more traditional palette with its own kitchenette, gives the layout real flexibility for a family that entertains often.
