A Textbook Prep-for-Sale
This is the shoot I'd point to as a textbook example of what a coat of white paint and the right staging does for an original, unrenovated home. Nothing about the house itself changed structurally -- same tile floors, same vaulted ceilings, same layout -- but repainting everything white and bringing in clean, neutral furniture let the two-story great room and the loft above it read as bright and current instead of dated. It's a fast, easy house to shoot for exactly that reason: good natural light through the tall windows, an open floor plan that lets a wide-angle lens do the work, and staging that was clearly chosen to photograph well, not just look nice in person.
